Sponsors play a big role in any tournament or event, and it is always common to see several top companies compete for a sponsorship role, depending on the event. For a global showpiece competition like the World Cup, it will come as no surprise that some of the biggest brands in the world would love to be associated with such an event.

Admittedly, the FIFA World Cup is one of the most effective international marketing platforms for brands to reach a large audience. All top brands like Coca-Cola, Adidas, Wanda Group and Qatar Airways have all partnered with FIFA ahead of the Qatar World Cup 2022. For brands like Coca-Cola and Adidas, they have partnered with FIFA over several editions of the World Cup now.

Some new names have come on the scene this time as sponsors of Qatar 2022. The Indian-based EdTech Company BYJU and VIVO are the most important names that come to mind. As seen official FIFA websitethere are some other brands that span different sectors on the sponsor list.
