Football World Cup 2022 England vs Iran Live Stream

This year’s England-Iran game will be the first ever at this level, as the two countries have never met at senior level before. Iran are no strangers to World Cup finals, having qualified for six competitions in total and the previous two competitions in 2014-2018.

After defeating Iraq in the Tehran play-off, they were the first Asian Football Confederation team to qualify for the World Cup.

They had a very disruptive qualifying campaign which started under former Belgium boss Marc Wilmots. He was dismissed and replaced by Dragan Skocic from Croatia. Skocic oversaw a turnaround and they finished top of their group.
